「TOKYOデザインマンホール」展示会&トークショー開催

The "TOKYO Design Manhole Digital Rally," which invites participants to explore "design manholes" and tourist spots across all 62 wards of Tokyo, will be held again this year.
At Anime Tokyo Station, we will host related events to showcase the charm of design manholes, including an exhibition and a talk show.

Display of a map of design manholes in Tokyo
Exhibition of replicas of design manhole covers from Tokyo
Screening of videos introducing design manhole covers, and more!
Participants who complete a survey will receive "Tokyo Tokyo merchandise" on a first-come, first-served basis!

Tokyu East No. 5, 14th Floor
This building houses Anime Tokyo Station.

60 participants (Pre-registration required; lottery if applications exceed capacity)

MC: Nozomi Yamamoto

Voice Actor: Aoi Koga
Aoi Koga voices the main character Kaguya Shinomiya in the popular anime "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War" and has won the Best Actress Award at the Seiyu Awards.
She has been captivated by design manholes, inspired by a manhole cover featuring Beryx splendens that she spotted during her travels.
She has also participated in design competitions for design manholes.
She hails from Saga Prefecture.

Manhole Enthusiast: Shoji Morimoto
Shoji Morimoto became interested in manhole covers after encountering one in Nagano Prefecture. He is the creator of the term "manholer," used to describe fans of manhole covers, and the phrase "Nice Manho!" which means "good cover!" He actively promotes the charm of manhole covers through lectures at events like the Manhole Summit, publications, TV appearances, social media, and children's web classes. He has been cooperating with the "TOKYO Design Manhole Digital Rally" since 2021.

Free Announcer: Michelle Nozomi Yamamoto
Nozomi Yamamoto is a "manholer announcer" captivated by Japanese manhole covers.
Born in the U.S. and raised in Europe, she worked as a reporter for NHK before becoming a caster and reporter for NHK World-Japan.
She is also a visiting professor at Institute of Technologist and an part-time teacher at Hosei University, Wako University, and Niigata Sangyo University (correspondence course).
Her hobby is searching for manhole covers between nationwide shoots.
She has made numerous appearances at Manhole Summits in Saitama, Ikeda, Tokorozawa, and Okazaki, as well as in books, TV, and radio.
