Originally released on October 22, 1958, "The White Snake Enchantress" is Japan’s first color feature-length animated film, distributed by Toei and produced by Tōei Dōga (now Toei Animation)!

To celebrate "100 Years of Japanese Animation," the Association of Japanese Animation has designated October 22 as "Anime Day," honoring the film's release date. The goal is to make this day an opportunity for people of all ages, in Japan and beyond, to enjoy animation in their own way. To mark the occasion, Anime Tokyo Station is hosting a free screening of "The White Snake Enchantress"!
